In performing our core activities of facilitating the purchase, sale of real estate/land, and mediating rentals/leasing, we collect and process your personal data. On our website, however, we collect only the minimal amount of data necessary. Data on the RE/MAX Classic website is collected in two ways:
1. Contact form on the RE/MAX Classic page under the Contact tab, where we ask for the following data: first name, last name, email address, and phone number. By clicking consent, you allow us to use your personal data to send property offers via email or phone.
2. Newsletter subscription – collects email addresses to send the latest information about our real estate and land offerings.
The collected data is used exclusively for the purpose for which it was entrusted to us and for which consent was given. We are committed to ensuring that your personal data remains protected and confidential and that it will not be stored longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Personal data provided for inquiries is retained for three years. If used for statistical purposes to improve the quality of our services, the data is anonymized to remove any association with an individual. Once your personal data is no longer required, it will be deleted.
Data is collected through the web server in a strictly controlled, secure environment that is maximally protected against unauthorized access and use. Information flow from the user's device to the server occurs via the HTTPS protocol, which encrypts the data during transmission, ensuring it is completely protected against any form of misuse. After transmission from the web server, the data is stored on secured computers in encrypted personal data databases.
Your personal data may be shared with IT sector companies that RE/MAX Classic has contracted for providing development and maintenance services of the application software we use, maintenance and protection of local computers, as well as web hosting and cloud storage services. These companies are our trusted partners, contractually bound to maintain data confidentiality and comply with GDPR regulations.
RE/MAX Classic may use data provided only through the contact form or upon newsletter subscription. For instance, if you no longer wish to receive our marketing messages despite subscribing to the newsletter, please click the "unsubscribe" link at the end of the email.
